Not sure which model scooter you have got. But this site gives a comprehensive list of parts you can buy on line. Select your model and look for Handle Bar switch. This should include the head light switch if that is what you are after. TaoTao Electric Scooter Parts ElectricScooterParts com
At the bottom of the red section of the scooter where it meets the pad where your child stands while riding it there should be some sort of lever that you push or pull that will allow the scooters handle bars to fold down for storage or travel. Good luck :)
YAAAAYYYY I DID IT!!! Put the scooter upside down, with the handle bars on the ground. Push the back side down, HARD, while pulling the bottom out. Hope that helps. Santa brought these scooters for my kids and it's now JUNE and we finally got them open. Good luck!
mcdevito75 here, There may be a bolt on top of the handle bars you can tighten, or a clamp just under the handle bars you can tighten, this clamp may also be on the shaft just above the wheel.
A small tip here - bigger is better. The large diameter wheels clear gaps in concrete or pavement that would hang up a skate wheel or a scooter with smaller wheels. Most electric scooters also handle well in gravel and small terrain features. We don't recommend slamming electric scooters into a curb to get over it like some people do with their bike. This could result in damage to the electric scooter. Simply Ollie up a curb and keep going.
