I dropped my Panasonic Lumix camera and now it won't read any memory stick - it states all pictures will be recorded in the built in memory (holds only 10 pics or so). Any chance this can be fixed for less than the camera's value?

With no card in the camera, go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory. Then, insert your card and try it. You may have to format the card as well so download any pics from it first using a card reader if necessary.

Manual for Panasonic Lumix-S3 camera in english

You may download a copy of the manual here.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Windows Photo Gallery or Picasa.

When i turn on my camera, it won't read my memory card and won't bring up my photos that are already on my memory card. I put my memory card in and i go to take a picture and it says 'pictures...

If the card was one that was previously used in another camera, you can't use it in this camera without formatting it. Move the pictures to a computer and format the card via the camera (remember that all data on the card will be erased). Before formatting the card however, make sure the battery has sufficient charge as this process can take some time. Also remember to never interrupt this process as it can damage the card. The format option can be found in the settings.
Note: pictures taken on one camera can't be viewed on another camera.

My lumix DMC-FS5 camera keeps saying "Pictures will be recorded to to built-in memory". No pictures have recorded to the memory card and I cannot retrieve pictures that have been taken and that...

In the camera menu, you will find an entry for "copy" which gives you the option to copy the internal memory to a memory card. Once that is done, remove your card, go back into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions to erase the internal memory and promise yourself to never use it again. After that, your memory card should work properly in the camera.

Panasonic lumix dmc fx12 states memory card full, when it is not

Check to make sure the memory card is inserted the right way. Otherwise the camera will only read the memory that came with the camera, which is very small.

You should read the manual.

It states that you can only zoom before you start recording video, and not while recording.

This is not a fault
