Here is a link to the manual:http://www.peavey.com/assets/literature/manuals/00512180.pdf Page8 sections 2 through 4 discusses the LEDs. I think what you arte talking about is the DDT active LEDs. Page 12 specifically discusses this and page 15 notes that Red signifies DDT clipping. Peavey recommends that you don't defeat the DDT circuit and that is good advice as it protects your amp and your speakers. The clipping is not caused by the amp but by the amount and quality of signal being input. Check earlier in your signal chain for the cause.

HOW DO I GET THE SPEAKER OUT OF A PEAVY KB-100 CABINET

You remove the speaker grill cloth frame from the front of the amp. The entire frame is held on by velcro onn the corners of the face of the amp. Once off, there will be 8 philips head screws holding the speaker into the cabinet.

My peavy amp will not turn on

1- check the outlet for power by plugging in a lamp or something
2- check the amps fuse. Most power amps have user replaceable glass fuses.

The SP5G Peavey Speakers are a good combination for the MP5 Plus?

Those speakers are capable of much more power than that little powered mixer can deliver - my 5G's are rated for 800 Watts program. I use a pv2600 to drive mine - at 8 ohms per side that's a good match. Depending on what your using the setup for...my concern would be that a small amp like that could get turned up high enough that you'll be clipping - thereby sending nasty squared waves at the speakers - they won't like that much. If you want much volume - you should look at a bigger amp. If you're going very low key...those speakers are overkill.

My peavy vk 2x12 have a dirty distortioned sound in the clean chanel, i'd took a look at the back side and i saw the problem could be the 12ax7, one looks ok, one is dead, have no light while is turn on,...

* ALWAYS UNPLUG YOUR AMPLIFIER BEFORE REMOVING TUBES *

If you can see that a tube is definitely not lighting up then it may be blown. If this amp has seen regular use then it may be time for a new set of tubes. Try replacing the 12AX7s first before committing to a new set of 6L6s. Though, if you have the cash available, a new set of power tubes isn't a bad idea either. I would advise you to do the preamp tubes first and play through the amp for a few days first before changing the power tubes.

Keep in mind... if a tube (or tubes) has blown, there could be another issue in the circuit. Swapping in a new tubes is a quick way to determine that. Then it would be time to take it to your local repair shop.

Good luck and keep rockin'!

Marshall MB4410 - Dies and comes back to life every few minutes..

Our bassplayer had the same problem with his mb4410. As it turned out, the fan was not working when the amp got hot. It did turn when cold - go figure! Swap the fan for a good quality (Pabst, Sunon) 80mm pc fan with 2-wire connection. Three or four wire fans will not work w/out modding. See your local pc guy and ask for an unregulated, silent 24/7 fans. He will know. Our bassplayer sold the P.O.S. while still in warranty. HTH.

No sound coming out of speakers when turned on

If you get absolutely no sound, not even a pop when changing the standby switch, this probably means the rectifier OR the switch has failed. The red light just means power is getting to the power transformer... probably fuse is OK.
