I've checked the hose from fuel tank to carb and there is no blockage. When I try start the pull cord is turning it over no probs but it just won't kick!!! I've had a few problems with it in the past but it was running perfect a couple of weeks ago then all of a sudden it won't start....HELP!!!!

SOURCE: starts runs min. or two then stops....

Go to toro.com then click customer care, then click manuals and parts. Type in model no. and download the owners manual. This should get you the spark and flywheel gap. Probably still something in the carb. Some orifices are very hard to find and to clean but they must be clean. Also check for dirt dopper nest in the muffler.

Replace the spark-plug, check the quality of the fuel(gas that is mixed or was stored more then three months is stale and wont fire correctly) make sure the fuel and air filter not clogged. If there is no change then your problem may be more technical, a nest may be restricting the govenor or you missed something with the carb and there still is debre causing it to stall.

SOURCE: Carftsman DYT 4000 42" 18.5 OHV Intek Plus Fuel Problem

Sounds like you have a float problem their is a needle and seat the lets gas into bowl of carburetor if its bad it will not stop letting fuel in the carburetor causing your problem (Be sure to change oil before ing engine over or you could damage engine (with this problem you get gas into case which will remove oil from engine parts inside !

SOURCE: not getting enough gas to the carb have to run choke 3/4 engaged

Sounds like a restriction in your carb, not getting enough gas. I would clean out the carb again.

I was given a McCulloch Pro Mac 610 w/Electronic Ignition & cushioned power and it looks like a 22" bar. I'd like to know if I can still get a user manual for it. I'd also like to know the gas mix and...

Use 40:1 fuel mix using modern synthetic saw oil and mix it in it's own can. Be sure to shake the can thoroughly just before refueling each time. Check with a home center, hardware store, or saw dealer for the correct plug--set the gap at 0.020". Check the manual dealers on the web for a manual. Hope this helps!
