trying to eliminate one device after another try following the steps below:
>remove the Battery from the system, unhook the adaptor as well then Press and Hold down the power button for 7-10 seconds to drain any power on your motherboard.
>after power draining the system connect the adaptor to your laptop, do not insert the battery yet, Power the system without the battery, if the system turns on leave it turned on for about a minute then shut it down normally.
>insert the battery to the laptop turn the system on if this turns on without any error then your concern is probably ok and fixed.
>but if the system still does not power up having the battery connected to the machine a device on your system can or maybe damaged either the Battery or the Motherboard having an issue with the battery conencted to the machine...

You can check if this product key that you have just mentioned is located at the back of your laptop. Determine if the Operating System is windows Vista which is stipulated at the back of it. If you have a windows Vista CD, check if it is for Ultimate. Then insert the CD and restart the pc. Then repeatedly press F12 to boot to CD. Select ODD or CD/DVD ROM option.
When installing the operating system, check if it prompts you to ask the product key, then it will activate your windows.
