Menu problems my compaq 7500 monitor keeps entering his menu at the color propreties... during a game or even in windows... it appears on the center of the screen and it really pisses me off. help please.

The VGA cable and pins are OK.
Look for bad solder joints on the circuit board mounted on the end of the picture tube socket. There should be transistors that drive each colors.
about the settings menu it is the problem of the main system ic in the monitor.And about the colour on the right side corner pls change the ptc in the monitor .
Press the menu button on monitor select the brightness press the menuside button increases or decreases.after select exit oress the exit button on monitor.
Press the Menu button on your Monitor and go to the Special Section. You should be able to find the degauss option there. Not sure it will work but its worth a try.
