My friend gave me her old weider 450 rm rowing machine. How do I make it easier to row. the tension is really hard.

You may have to take it apart one section at a time take photos of this project unless IconFitness has a manual for this unit. I suggest this course of action check , clean and if needed lubricate all movable parts then reassemble unit. If you want to put in the time.
