How to change a mower drive belt- Craftsman,Troy-Built,Cub Cadet.....

  • Step 1 Consult the owner's manual. Most often, the manual will have tips and steps that will be very helpful. If you cannot locate the manual, check the manufacturer's Web site.
  • Step 2 Remove the mowermag-glass_10x10.gif assembly. This will allow you much more room to fix the problem.
  • Step 3 Locate and remove the old drive belt and the belt guides. The belt guides are pieces of metal that hold the belt in place when the mower is not in gear.
  • Step 4 Install the new belt. Follow the routing instructions outlined in the manual. Many mowers also have the routing guide printed on the mower assembly.
  • Step 5 Reinstall the belt guides. As you tighten the bolts, be sure that the guides fit properly into the notches.
  • Step 6 Start the mower. While the engine is idling and the parking brake is engaged, inspect the belt to be sure that the pathing is correct.
  • Step 7 Put the assembly back on the mower in the reverse order in which you removed it.

    Drivers side headlight bulb replacement

    1. Open the hood to the 1999 Dodge Stratus.

    2. Locate the two headlight lens assembly retaining screws at the top of each side of the assembly.
    3. Remove each screw with the ratchet and a suitable socket.
    4. Place the screwdriver behind the lens assembly to assist in prying out the guide pins that secure and align the headlight assembly. Hold the lens assembly from the outside edge (marker light/directional light section) first and pry from behind with the screwdriver to unseat the guide pins. Pry from the inside end of the lens assembly to unseat the other guide pin.
    5. Pull the lens assembly out far enough to reach behind it and disconnect the headlight bulb wire harness from the back of the bulb. Or simply remove the bulb by twisting the harness and retaining ring counterclockwise and remove it as an assembly.
    6. Turn the marker light/directional light socket and wire counterclockwise to remove it from the headlight lens assembly.
    7. Remove the assembly from the front of the Stratus.

Quickie p 222 se need to know how to assemble

NO manufacturer has an assembly guide as all the chairs are shipped assembled, or mostly assembled. Most have battery replacement guides and other minor issue stuff, but nothing to take the chair fro womb to tomb.

Epson Stylus c42 - how to take the printer apart ?

Do you mean that the print head has come off the guide rails at the back? The following pictures show the upper and lower guides from each side of the print head, which keep the print head on its track. The upper guides are connected to the actual print head assembly; the lower guides are connected to the cartridge carrier assembly. The print head assembly and the cartridge carrier assembly simply clip together.

Now, if you are lucky, all that has happened is that the two assemblies have become unclipped. If so, position the upper guides on the track and then squeeze the two assemblies together so that the lower guides go under the track - you should hear the assemblies click together.

If you are unlucky, it means you have managed to break one or more of the guides. If so, the print head or cartridge carrier, or both is probably scrap, I'm afraid.

I recommend you purchase a copy of the service manual before you attempt this task - they are not expensive. If you require any more assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.

    A part has fallen out.

The component that fell out is called a tape guide. The guide assembly fits into the guide rail on the supply side (left side) of the drum. You will notice another guide to the right, this is the take up guide assy, it sits in the guide rail assembly as well. There will be a silver shaft sticking up from the guide rail where the tape guide should be seated, with gentle pressure, the guide should snap back on and the unit should operate correctly. Please do not touch the drum surface as this may damage the video head assembly. Hope this helps you, good luck. Joe Weibel customelectronics.org
