Same issue, auto config wondows pops up non-stop. Same issue, auto config wondows pops up non-stop.

"auto config..please wait" keeps popping up on acer al1914 lcd monitor every three seconds.

auto config pops up and the screen goes blank. It does this on multiple machines auto config pops up and the screen goes blank. It does this on multiple machines

My Acer AL1916W also does this, Auto config popsup, and the auto config function is really adjusting the screen (colors change, the position of the visual moves). When it stops,automatically and directly it pops-up again...What to do?


I already removed the screendriver via Config/Hardware, and even when rebooting and reinstalling the pop-up kept active... 
so not a driver problem from the video card...
Seems a hardware problem from the monitor...


Q is: how to turn it of?

i have a AL1715b Acer LCD Monitor and the "auto config" pops up frequently sometimes once ever few seconds and then other times will wait for a minute or two before popping up. also, my Menu on the monitor will come up when depressed the when you remove your finger from the button the menu will disappear.
