Can you show me paragon timer 4003-0 the wiring

1) Copy following links:
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000
http://waterheatertimer.org/images/Paragon-4000-series-wiring.jpg

2) 4003-0 is 120Volt timer so clock voltage is 120V
Timer can control 120V or 240V loads
Use diagram 3

3) Paragon is no longer making this timer or parts for timer.
If you purchased timer from ebay, then assume motor is bad or X2772 trippers are worn out.
Always buy new timers. Buy Intermatic and parts are easily available.

4) Replacement timer is Intermatic T101

I need trippers for parogon elect timer model # 4004-20

1) Paragon is no longer making timers or parts except defrost timers.
4004-20 240V 24-hour mechanical timer is not a defrost timer.

2) paragon 4000 series uses X2772 tripper.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000

3) Some sites still show the X2772 tripper.
Some sellers are seriously overcharging for the tripper.

4) If you want to buy new timer: Intermatic cross-reference guide shows T-104 240V 24 hour is correct replacement timer
http://www.intermatic.com/customer%20service/competitive%20cross%20reference.aspx

5) Amazon sells new T104 for 50$ which is cheaper than some folks are selling the paragon tripper:
http://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-T104-208-277-Volt-Mechanical-Switch/dp/tags-on-product/B000BQOX88

6) Change-over wiring from Paragon 4004-20 to T-104:
Hot wires from breakers. Paragon terminals 1 and 4. Intermatic terminals 1 and 3
Load wires. Paragon terminals 2 and 3. Intermatic terminals 2 and 4.

Have a paragon amf 4004-71 timer it runs constantly

Paragon 4004-71 is 240Volt timer
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#Paragon4000

1) If your trippers are worn down, the timer will not turn on and off
Google search for X2772 trippers.
2) If your timer dial is not rotating, then timer clock motor is bad.

3) According to e-mail I received from Paragon Nov 2010, Paragon is no longer making timers and parts, except for their line of defrost timers.
4004-71 is not a defrost timer, so it is no longer being made according to Paragon representative.

4) To change timer brands: Intermatic cross reference shows Paragon 4004-71 can be replaced with Intermatic T-104 timer.
Intermatic cross reference link:
http://www.intermatic.com/customer%20service/competitive%20cross%20reference.aspx
Lowes and Grainger and many other outlet sell T-104 240V timer.

I have a model 7005 outdoor timer ,brand new but no instructions to proceed with settings .Can you help me?

72d1511.jpgParagon 7000
Paragon 7005 is a heavy duty 7-day mechanical timer that can handle 4 loads. It is DPST. One of two wiring diagrams applies to this timer:
1d6e8ec.jpgThe question is the the timer clock motor is 120V or 240V?

36b7dc9.jpgParagon EC 7000 is a 7-day digital timer with 16 set points per week
Manual for EC7000
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Paragon-EC7000-wire.pdf

Please re-post your questions as you start sorting out which timer you have.
Paragon is improving their site so there is less confusion over model numbers and functions. but information about the 7000 are still sketchy.

I have a paragon timer model 4004-20 and do not have a wiring digram for it . can you help

http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html

I don't find the Paragon 4004-20 listed in manual.
4004-71 is shown, and uses wiring diagram 3
4004-71B, M, S use wiring diagram 4
4004-06 uses wiring diagram 7
Your timer sounds like a 240V DPST
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Paragon-4000-24hr-7000-7day.pdf

Manual shows wiring diagrams, depending on how many screw terminals and loads you have, and voltage of clock motor and voltage of load.

HOw to disable the paragon 4001

4001 series timer is Paragon 120V mechanical timer.
http://waterheatertimer.org/Paragon-timers-and-manuals.html#4000
1) To disable the timer, turn off circuit breaker and take wires off of the terminals. Put wire nut over each wire, and circuit will no longer operate.
2) If you want the circuit to operate without timer, then take wires off terminals. Twist black wires together and cover with wire nut. Twist white wires together and cover with wire nut.
3) Buy Intermatic T-101 timer to replace Paragon 4001 timer
