The driver is probably stuck. The manual tells you how to access the front of the device. Check there (I have also had several hard to find jams) - be sure to remove all nails first.

The driver is silver in color, so it's easy to see if it's jammed. Use a slotted screwdriver to push it back up. I have had this happen more than a few times.

Nail gun will not fire green light on gas ok after drop on congrete floor

A quick diagnostic check. First remove gas cell press nose against solid surface to dispose of any gas that may be in chamber.
1. Insert battery - LED should flash.
2. Press nose against solid surface - LED should be lit permanently (if still flashing possible fault moulded circuit board or fan motor micro switch lever, if flashing red green high possibility motor fault). Listen to hear fan running if not heard fan blade may have fallen off motor.
3. While still pressed against solid surface press trigger and watch LED - LED should blink off then light again (may flash red on guns newer than 2006) If does not blink fault either Spark unit (controller) or moulded circuit board trigger micro switch. To test for LED blink again release pressure on nose then press again. The blink indicates that a spark has been sent to the spark plug.
4. If 1 to 3 are OK problem most likely gas related or leak in seals. Ensure driver blade not still forward a possible fault of sticking forward after being dropped is nose slightly bent this traps the driver blade when first fired and does not return. (jammed nail gives a similar fault.) If nose is the fault it will require a new sleeve.
The moulded circuit board is normally cheapest then spark unit and sleeve roughly about same price the motor is most expensive.

Hope this has been some help to you.

Two of my smoke alarms went off (no fire/smoke in or near house), one has a green light blinking and one has a solid green light, which need a new battery/reset?

The constant green LED means the alarm has AC power.
A flashing green light every 2 seconds without an audible alert means the unit recently sounded ( was the one activated ) and is now in latching mode to let you know that it was the unit that detected the problem. To clear the latching mode hold down the test button for 5 seconds.
Red LED flashing once per minute means that the back-up battery is connected and functioning.
Red light flashing constantly during alarm means that it is the unit that initiated the alarm siren.

How do I switch from strobe to constant light?

Depress the switch until light goes on but does not click on and then release just a little and depress again, light should switch to solid if it does than depress button all the way until it clicks on. If there is a high and low setting on the torch than make sure you are in high.

It will not fire nails

Does the motor start when you depress the nose against the work.
Look at the green light near the battery compartment it should flash one when you pull the trigger.
Is the gas in date?
Try warming the gas first by putting it in your pocket for 10 min before use.
You may also have an air leak, when was it serviced last?
Remove the head assy and reconnect to see if it is sparking when you depress the switches. Do not have the gas in whilst doing this.

Paslode

Make sure that you dry the top of the motor housing and connections.Make sure that the piston is up as far as it can go.
When you depress the nose against the work the motor should run and if you look at the flashing light on the side it will stay constantly on and momentarily flash when you pull the trigger. If it goes red then check the battery is charged otherwise there coiuld be a fault with the motor.
Is the inlet Valve facing the correct way with the bottom of the "V" facing down into the machine.
Check the date of the gas, make sure it is not out of date.
Is the gas cold? warm the cylinder up by putting it in your trouser pocket for 10 min. Paslode make winter gas for these cold days.

Hp TouchSmart 310 wont start, power light flashes

The LED light has now turned into a diagnostic light. The fault is a bad Power Supply.
Replacing it however, is easier said than done.

I don't know what exact model of the Touchsmart 310 series you have.
(Examples such as TouchSmart 310-1000Z, or 310-1125f, or 310-1155y, etc.)

The TouchSmart 310 series of All-In-One desktop computers, has a battery, and an AC adapter, (Charger), for power.

Test the battery with a multimeter set to DC Voltage.
{Symbol is a dotted line over a solid line. If there is more than one DC Voltage setting, set it to 0 - 50 Volts }

Should be close to 18.5 Volts (DC)

Battery is low?
Check the AC adapter (Charger)

The middle metal cylinder of the plug that goes into the computer, is Positive.
The outside metal shell which surrounds it, is Negative.
Again, 18.5 Volts (DC)

Check both then post back in a Comment.

Red light flashing constantly on dc16 when on charge, used to just stay permantly red without flashing until it went green when charged up.

I had a similar problem when I bought an after market 2Ah battery. Would stay solid red for a few seconds then flash red. I believe my problem was that the battery had gone into "sleep mode" I.e. it was discharged to the point that it "sleeps" in order to protect itself. So......I simply attached a domestic DC multi adapter to the terminals on the battery that are marked + and - (the 2 outside terminals on a DC16 Dyson battery). Switched on the DC adapter for around 10mins and this was enough to "wake" the battery. It now charges as normal attached to the DC16 in the Dyson charge mount.

For a pretty in depth article on lithium battery sleep have a look at this:

T-MOBILE DASH WONT TURN ON!!!!

On page 30 of the manual a red light states "Solid red-battery is not installed or is over discharged. Flashing red-battery very low(less than 10%)
In other words if you get a solid red light either you put the battery in incorrectly or your battery is over discharged and is no good.
