How to set call forwarding on Uniden phone - Uniden TRU9480 Cordless Phone

This is a feature that the phone company has to provide, please call them to find out if you have call forwarding in your phone service package.

You cannot have both system working on same telephone line.

To set call forwarding for all call dail *72 then after the beeps enter the number to be forwarded too. To reset it back dial *73 when it is no longer wanted.

Actually it's your telephone company forwarding the calls. With many phone companies, you dial *73 on your home phone to cancel the call forwarding. If that doesn't do it, contact your telephone company for their instructions regarding call forwarding.

Since you didn't specify the model of your phone, I can't give you a definite answer. On some of them the # moves forward and the * moves back.

We have call forwarding on a number of our phones for business purposes and with each instance, you have to go through your phone (landline) provider to sign up for "call forwarding". It's a nominal charge per month (at least for Qwest). They give you an 800 number to call when forwarding and you set it up, create a password and follow the menu. It's been a lifesaver for our business!

You can try to set fowarding function off in your dect phone..

The phone can not do that. You will need to call the company that supplies your dial tone to ask them for the code to forward out.

It is also possible that you do not have that feature.

you need to contact your phone company and have the call forwarding feature (if available) activated and follow their instructions. the problem is not the phone.

I am assuming your uniden handset is a land line? Call your telephone company and make sure that you have the feature to forward calls. To activate call forwarding after you have set it up with your carrier it is typically *72 then enter the 10 digit number you are forwarding to, to deactivate *73. Good Luck.
