Timer clock on bosch double oven

It is the automatic oven timer and not the kitchen counter timer ...?

Set the clock, then it stops flashing

You may need to set the clock on the front first. Sounds silly but I had the same problem.

Sure this is the failure off the unit but make sure that the step down transformer for the power to the unit is faulty or burnt. If so replace the transformer. If power goes tto unit without display then the processor can be faulty . Change the clock timer. unit if you need the timings.

Set the clock by following these steps: a). Touch TIME pad. b). Turn rotary knob clockwise until CLOCK appears. c). Touch TIME pad. d). Turn rotary knob in either direction. The time displayed will change in 10-minute increments and indicate AM or PM. Turn the knob in the opposite direction and the display will change in one-minute increments. e). Touch TIME pad. The clock is now set. in some units there is button instead of knob in that case the clock indicating button has to be pressed . This will help. Hold down 2 buttons - the first button on lhs "timer bell" the "hand" button and then use plus and minus with the other hand to set the time.

There are five buttons on the clock panel and from left to right they are:- Minute Minder, Cook time, Ready Time, Plus and Minus.
TO SET THE TIME OF DAY
Press the Cook Time button and the Ready Time button simultaneously. Use the Plus and Minus buttons to set the time.(24hr clock).
TO SELECT AN ALARM TONE.
Press the Minus button to listen to the first tone. Release it and press it again to listen to the second tone etc (3 tones)
Releasing the button after the tone has sounded will automatically set that tone.
SETTING THE MINUTE MINDER.
Press the Minuter Minder button and either the Plus or Minus buttons simultaneously to set the time.
You can cancel the timer at any time by setting it back to 00.00 by using the Minus button.
After setting, the display will revert to the time of day, but by pressing the Minute Minder button again, the display will show the remianing time.

The problem is very likely a bad capacitor on the clock module. See this link for more info:

If it has a timer, then make sure it is set manual and not auto, or the oven will not work.
Try pressing 2 buttons at the left of timer and one button on right of timer to set it to manual, if it does not work this way, then try another combination of buttons.

I just fixed my timer! Press and hold the OFF button for 10 seconds (until you hear 1 chime). Thanks to David at Bosch/Thermador!
