Hi I have a Panasonic Luminex DMC-TZ%, but everytime i swap the battery the time date function re-sets to zero: 1 jan 2000, just like an old 35mm film camera when the internal battery when flat. Any ideas anyone? Thanks Michael

There is probably an additional battery (usually a button battery) that keeps the internal memory going when there is no battery. It needs to be replaced.

Remove the battery for 20 mins. replace the battery.turn on and go to the camera's Menu scroll through the settings to the Date & Time, set the current date and time.

Hi, I've the same issue: I lost my CD.
From the Panasonic site you cannot download the full version, jut upgrades. That's why that version do not install.

I want my pictures has the date on them when i downloaded to my computer. How to set this function? Sorry for my bad english.

Press [MENU/SET]. Press up/down to select [CLOCK SET]. Press up and down to set time. Under Appearence set date, time and the display order for the date and time. Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.

Two ways: 1. Go into the menu and find "reset" 2. Remove the card and battery....press every button...leave it alone for 20 minutes...insert the card and then the battery...turn it on.

TZ 5 not TZ50! Date stamp.

I have the same camera and the only way to do this is to first, Make sure you have set the date and time correctly on your camera. Take a picture or, view picture you want date & time stamped. Press the circular 'Menu/Set' button. Press down arrow to playback mode. Press right arrow on 'text stamp'. Choose whether to apply stamp to single or multiple photos. Press 'Menu/set' to select photo to stamp. Choose which stamps to add. Date, time, age etc.. Press 'Menu/set' again and select 'Yes' in box. The only problem with this is that it will resize your photos to 3m, which can make them grainier if you took them at a higher res. Gillian

Help for Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ 1

For a factory reset:
Turn on the camera, push the menu button, push left, down and then right.

You are now on SETUP menu.

Scroll up to the RESET option, push right and then answer YES two times.
