Lisbon monobloc kitchen taps just installed the

Lisbon monobloc kitchen taps just installed the taps all fine and dry when I turned water back on UNTIL I turned taps on then there was a dribble from the base of the spout. I assumed that I had fitted the spout incorrectly so turned water off and removed spout. I refitted the spout, this time not pushing it all the way to the bottom of the block. Water back on, taps on and all was fine EXCEPT now there is a drip from the spout at the end where water is supposed to come out EVEN with the taps tightly closed. I wiggled the spout a little and it stopped dripping but instead a little water dribbled from spout base. One or the other it seems. The instructions didn't give any mention about fitting the spout. It's a pain as I've just fitted a new kitchen and want the job finished. Any advice would be helpful, thank yo

Put some cooking oil around the o-rings to sofen them up so they would seat around all fitting surfaces. Hope this helps.

How to regain lost water pressure after replacing hot water heater anode?

This important part is right at the end, you have a well!! It sounds like you may have run it dry? Check the well and the pump first. The rest is stop valves and pipes to the tank and beyond and not likely to be causing issues. Your sediment issues and problems with the anode is also due to using well water which is nearly always loaded with minerals..

Ge mod GSS22GRC SS the ice maker works fine but all of a sudden the water despenser does not flow....I since changed the filter that did not help

Hi,

Start by checking the water supply going to the fridge:

  • Turn off the water at the saddle tap valve.
  • Disconnect the water line in the back of the fridge. Place the disconnected end in a bucket and open the saddle tap valve.
  • Observe the flow rate–water should shoot out vigorously. If not, then the saddle tap valve is probably gunked up with sediment and you’ll need to replace it.

some new faucets come with there on supply lines when you tighten one will twist at the top near the faucet look under the sink to see if this has happened. i've had it happen not long ago

Where is the turn off valve on my refrigerator?

there should be one on the back under the refrigerator where the water hookup is.
if there isn't one there, there should be one where the tubing attaches to the main water source.
follow the tubing & see where it taps into the water pipes.
in the kitchen it is usually under the sink, if it was installed after the house was built.

I cant get handle off my hot water monobloc tap after taking screw out

I am providing the link of the installation instruction for your reference. It seems that there is a lock nut underneath to hold the faucet (figure 1, part 6). http://www.jadousa.com/assets/documents/jado/install/Install_3874.pdf

I have a mixer tap in the kitchen sink. The hot water tap runs fine but I am not getting any cold water. I also have a bath downstairs and the cold water tap there is fine

You will have to turn off your water mains and strip your mixer tap. It is possible that the seal (if it is an older tap with a rubber seal) has become stuck or the threaded part that turns it has gone faulty. If it is a modern tap with ceramic seals, check the operation of the mechanism and see why the ceramic seal is not being opened.

Oven control valve wont shut off gas completely

This could be due to a build up of grease or tiny food particles behind the control tap handle;
1/ Gently prise off the handle ( it comes towards you )
2/ Wash handle in warm soapy/detergent water, till clean, then dry.
3/ Use a lint-free cloth or a sponge with warm soapy water to soak the tap control spindle and a plastic knife to clean off any stubborn bits.
4/ Wipe clean , replace handle part, try turning off.

Fitting monobloc kitchen diagram on pipe fittings

The tap should have 2 pipes about 6-10 inches long and almost the thickness of a maker pen {10mm or 15mm]
U will need either a 10-15 connection or a 15-15 connection either straight or elbowed according to routing need to main pipes [& these should also be 15mm
connections are fixed either with solder or have nuts on each end to tighten [compression] or are just push-on ["Speedfit"]
Ger back if u need more
