I had a Maytag washer almost 5 years old that sounded like a Jet Engine taking off during the spin cycle. It was the Tub Bearing - there are kits to do this yourself. To hire someone it would of cost almost as much as it would be to buy a new Washing machine. Never again Maytag - it was whats inside that mattered so I bought an LG washer.
If you let it go too long your going to wind up flooding underneath the washing machine with Brown gunk

The problem is that the seals are leaking and allowing water to attack the tub bearings.
You need new tub seals and bearings.....not as difficult as it may seem.
see u tube video on replacing maytag seals and bearings

the only part that makes a loud noise is your bearings m8 other than that could be a bra wire stuck inbetween your drum and casing m8
SOURCE: loud noise during spin cycle
this is my experience repairing the maytag washer Atlantis mav series 9750 aww, I had to replace the spin bearing since it was making a jet engine noise when it was spinning out the water. its not an easy job for my 1st time taking this machine apart, you literally take it all apart to get to this bearing, but now I can show how to do it with pictures making it easier for you to do it. even if you have to replace something other than the spin bearing, this how to tutorial will show you how to get to most of the parts in this machine

SOURCE: rattling noise during spin cycle
Most noises
from a washing machine occur during the spin cycle. If you hear loud
thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become
unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start
it. Repeat these steps if necessary.

That's a great question, Roth!
Based off the information you have provided your Frigidaire washer is making a loud noise during the spin cycle. This could be an issue with your bel, motor, or tub. In order to find the cause of your noise you may need to disassemble your washer. This is not a simple DIY job and I would recommend contacting a technician to come out. This will help prevent any future issues or personal injuries. -Matt
