Hi, my dvd player broke after having it for 4 months. When i put dvds in, sometimes they work, but usually dont. Last night i played 4 dvds and they all worked fine, this morning when i put them in, it says bad disc, but they arent. They all work fine on my other dvd player.
Also the picture for alot of them comes up really blurry, almost unwatchable, and when i play them on my other dvd player the picture is fine.
I have tried using cleaner discs, but even that doesnt run properly. I have checked and the dvd player isnt dusty.
Thanks

If the dvds which are "all regions" are recorded from a computer, your dvd player may not play them. I assume the dvds which have a region code have been professionally prepared. Sometimes, the cheap dvd players will play anything while the more sophisticated ones will give you trouble unless everything is just perfect.
If your DVD's came from overseas or is a copy, they may not play in the player. I have the same problem with playing certain DVD's in my Linux computer. Although they will play in my oldest DVD player. It is due to the copyright protection software that is encoded on the DVD,
can i buy something to put all my dvds on to a machine then i dont have to have dvds all over the place and it will stop the kids scratching them all the time
You can only change the region code a few times (usually 5), so I wouldn't do it. You should leave the current player at region 1, and buy and install another DVD player and set it to region 4, then you will have 1 for each region you want.
Here's the support site with contact information. When you say it "quit working," how so? Does it spin up/power up? Are you having trouble playing DVDs? What model? It'll help to troubleshoot if you can give us more details.
