I just got my new LG VU. i bought this one off of e-bay , the phone works fine except that i cannot send any text messages. but i can send pictures. i can recieve some messages, but not all of them. every time i try to send a message it says currantly recieving message please try again later. any help

You can send them to your e-mail address. Download them directly, I'm not so sure ... Years ago, I bought a cord for about $35.00 and software to go with it for about $45.00 to fit my LG 4300. I never moved one pic, one ring tone, one text, nothing from my LG to my computer and nothing from my computer to my LG. That is not to say you can't. For the cost of a text message, you can send it to your e-mail address (probably) and save a few bucks.

When I got my phone, it had the same problem. Check the message center number and see what it is. You can access this my selecting "messaging", then "message settings" and "text message". You will see an option for message center number. Select it and it will show the number for your routing tower. I am not sure what yours is, but mine is +13123149810. This is the number the AT&T help line gave me...
