Kenwood multiple cd player dr350 draw and cd player has stopped working draw is stuck in and cd player does not work and the skip disc doesn't go round either.

i used to have that same propblem with my kenwood my dad took it my car somewhere to get my radio looked at they said something like there was dust on the eye that lights up it it to read the disc and sometimes it gets in the way and makes the cd skip

It's used to power the player from an external power source - adapter, if you don't want to use the battery.

It worked for my Philips PET741/37:

1. Power ON the DVD player without a DISC inside
2. Press the skip keys in this order (the keys are under the "disc menu" and "stop"): right, left, right, left, right, right, left (YOU DON'T HAVE TO GO TO SETUP MENU, just do this in the "blue screen".
3. It will show a menu with region, now use the arrow keys to select "region" and change to "test 0" (all regions).
4. Press OK to confirm. Enjoy

The vibrations from your speakers are too big so it makes your CD skip (try moving the speakers farther away from your radio)

Problem is a DVD mechanism, if you are capable replacing it by yourself it make sens to repair the unit. I've seen parts here.

If your lasers eye is dirty the just use a cd/calibrater disc They are cheap and the have a small brush with hairs on the disc that clean the surface of the eye.
