DVP-NC85H - - Shuffle play among several CDs

I would like to load up to 5 CDs and have it play randomly selected tracks from among all the CDs. All I can get it to do is randomly select tracks from only one CD even though up to 5 CDs may be loaded in the carousel. How does one program the DVP-NC85H so that up to 5 CDs can be loaded and it will play randomly selected tracks from among all the CDs in the carousel? Also, is there a way to make such a setup the default play mode, or does it have to be re-programed each time I use it?

Thank you for your time.

Skips when playing disc, may go from track one to track ten for no reason.

It sounds like you have the cd on random or shuffle. Look to see if you have a button marked rdm or shuf or some variation of that. If so, try pressing that button to see if random/shuffle turns off.

My ipod touch will not play in shuffle mode plays a couple of tracks then stops

you might have reset to shuffle again

The iPod's shuffle feature lets you randomize playback of albums, songs or even your entire music library. You may also find this feature useful if you want to listen to forgotten tracks in your library or discover songs you haven't listened to yet. Disabling the shuffle feature will return playback of a song list to its standard consecutive order. You can enable and disable the shuffle feature at any time.

Navigate to the main menu. Select "Settings." Scroll to the "Shuffle" option. Select "Songs" or "Albums." If you select "Songs," the iPod Classic will shuffle the songs on whatever song list you listen to. If you select "Albums," the iPod Classic will play all songs of an album you select in order and then randomly select another album. Navigate to the playlist or album to which you want to listen. Play a song to initiate the shuffle. b> iPod Nano and iPod Touch Tap the "Songs" icon on your nano home screen. If you are using an iPod Touch, open the "iPod" application. Navigate to the song list, playlist or album you want to play. Tap the "Shuffle" icon at the top of the list to activate the feature.

What program would you use if you , lets say, wanted to play the files on you PC. Que those files up in order on you cmoputers media player, locate an option to create/save a playlist. Save your playlist and transfer the playlist to you player. ----or----- main menu, scroll around to settings and select, then scroll down to sounds, then scroll down to play mode, you have the option of OFF, Repeat one, shuffle, repeat, and shuffle + repeat. I leave mine on shuffle + repeat. Hope this helps
