I've lost my Sylvania VCR/DVD/CD manual, model DV220\r\nSL8, serial U15713623. Purchased from Sears in 2007. Called customer help at 800-968-3429 was told to go to www.sunai.com to get a new MANUAL but could not find the model number I need. Can you tell me how to get a new manual??

The instruction book will give a list of Error Messages and their meaning. If you've lost the book go to Sylvania's website where there will be easy to follow steps to either viewing the book for the device or downloading and printing it.
the chances are the laser is bust try cleaning it with cd cleaner disc and liquid if it does not work laser is done buy another dvd player much cheaper than replacing the laser unit
