Have you updated your Wii? There was a program update a couple of weeks ago. My son had this problem with a different game and after updating it worked fine.

Wii fit plus game disc will not load up - it is a replacement - it seems to run and then stop and the 'please insert disc' message comes up - any ideas please?

Your laser reader inside of the Wii is either dirty or needs to be replaced. Try cleaning it with the following wet lens cleaner (NEVER use dry cleaners on Video Game Systems - it can ruin the laser). If this doesn't help, your laser or DVD drive inside of the Wii may need to be replaced. The same website sells the parts if you need it -- but if the disc is reading them stopping, it may just be a dirty laser lens:

US version Wii Fit and Australian Wii console incompatibility

I don't think changing the TV would make any difference because the console isn't even loading up the disc. To play an NTSC game you would have to use a console from an NTSC area like the US. I'm sure Japan is NTSC as well. I've heard about Freeloader. Ever since I bought an Action Replay cartridge for my N64 I've never trusted Datel (who manufacture Freeloader). It really mucked up my N64. On the other hand I know many people who use Datel products and the like with no probs. I suppose if you got nothing to lose then try Freeloader.

Sorry I could'n t be much more help

I got wii fit the disk wont work !!!!!!

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide, that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide

Wii game disc's not loading

The lens in your wii disk drive might be dirty or scratched. Try putting in a regular head cleaning cd. The problem is that the wii will not read it but it might spin it round enough while trying to read it to clean the lens. You could also do it manually by taking your wii apart but i wouldn't recommend it personally due to the large quantity of things that break easily and the amount of screws to be taken out that are easy to lose.

Hope this helps,
