Any 2 cycle oil will work. Then mix 1 gallon of gas to 1 container of 2 cycle engine, shake well and pour into your blower.

Hi lenore thorpe

You will fill your blower with low test/ grade of gasoline..no need for the high test.
You also said that it is 4 cycle, so DO NOT MIX OIL WITH THE GASOLINE...

What is the oil type and oil/gas mix ratio needed for the Troy Bilt 31cc blower (TB310QS)?

I always suggest using a full synthetic 2 stroke oil for these machines. It provides superior lubrication qualities and burns cleaner than conventional oil. The fuel/oil mix ratio is 40:1. That is 3.2 ounces of oil mixed in 1 US gallon of gas. Half that to mix up a 1/2 gallon. You can find this info and more in your manual. The fuel info is located on page 10.

You will need Adobe Reader installed on your computer to view your manual as it is in PDF format. If you don't have it, you can get a free download from their site. It is safe.

What type oil do I need for a TB4SC Troy-Bilt leaf blower? Thanks.

Your user manual would tell you exactly what to use, if you have it. If you need a manual you can download a free one here, but you will need the serial number of the machine in addition to the model number.

Oil spitting out of tub in air cleaner. Lots of it. Unit will start but not run. Troy Bilt TB4SC

simplest answer is that its overfull of oil, make sure its sitting upright when you check the dipstick. remember to screw the stick in then remove it to check the level. Be sure to use only SAE 30 non detergent oil so it does not foam. The secont possibility is thatyou have more then 50 hours running time on it and the rings are worn out.If thats the case, bite the bullet and buy a 2 cycle machine like either ECHO or RED MAX or Husqvarna. Try to stay away from box store machines as they mostly all have a 50 hour life expectency. Write back if I can help more?? JIm

Quit running with half tank of gas left over

If it is a 4-cycle, it does not come with oil in it. If it is a 2-cycle, you must mix oil into the gas according to the owners manual...Good luck

I nww=eed to know the fuel mixture for my homelite gas blower

If you ran plain gas in a 2-cycle engine and it seized... you need to buy a new one. 2-cycle engines depend on oil in the gas for lubrication. If you run straight gas, there is no lubrication, the engines overheats and seizes. The end, unfortunately.
