Hi, Samsung Rant is acting up. The battery is completely dead and my charger is broken, so I use my USB cable, but when I plug it in, it doesn't charge, it turns on and then shut off over and over again, and it doesn't go to the mainscreen. Please tell me how I can fix this problem.

Remove battery, check if the phone works just with charger. If the battery is in 0, the phone doesn`t necessary understand it...

it might be water damaged return it to bike shop and ask for full replacement under the lifetime warranty

You left your camera on for a couple of days? I'd think your batteries are completely drained. The S203 doesn't charge batteries via the USB port. Try charging the batteries overnight using the supplied MH-63 charger.

If that doesn't do it, please reply to this post and we'll go on from there.

try to change your charger cable

you can see if ebay have a broken phone like yours and you can use the parts off the phone you buy from ebay to replace the one in your phone.

there are 2 possible reasons for the problem u mentioned..

• either ur phone charger port or its internal connection is defected
• or ur charger circuit or wire orits pin is the problem

you can find it by connecting ur phone with system using usb data cable..if it charges then ur charger kit is to replaced..else u must service ur phone

All you have to do is plug the phone into the computer with a USB cable (cord that came with the rant) then u go to your main menu on your phone.Go to Tools then mass storage then connect to pc. HOPE IT HELPS :)

4. Select Connect to PC (1)
5. Connect the data cable to the PC's USB port and the handset Charger/Accessories jack

i have tried different chargers, but my phone keeps saying abnormal state charging disabled.

When a battery gets really low, it may not take a charge straight away, leave it connected for several hours, it may come back. If not, a new battery is in order, and a charger I guess also:)
