Fridge is not cooling. Everything seems to be @ room temp. Sounds like compressor is working

Check the compressor start device. The fans will be running and the compressor fan will be running but the compressor is problaly not running. If it is then it could be the compressor itself that is not oumping.

Have the same issue with the mcwc50dbt.

The relay seems fine, no oxidation on ceramic insert.

I used to tap the back of control panel and sometimes the compressor would start up, cool the unit, but would not come back on again by its own.

I removed the control board this weekend and it looks fine (ie, no burn marks or loose soldered connections on board as seen in other posts), however if I wiggle the wires leading from the inside top of the fridge cabinet to the control board, the compressor will come on, but again will not come on again after the temp is reached. So how do I know if the issue is with the control board and needs to be replaced, or if the issue is something else?

. Cut everything off for a few minutes then turn it back on and listen for a click from the compressor relay as the compressor tries to start.
Is the compressor motor running.If no check starter/overload relay.
Check to see if the condenser fan at the back underneath near the compressor is running. If no check fan.

Are the condenser coils near there warm or room temp. should be warm

how dirty is the condenser, it should be cleaned once a year for optimum performance, high temp = hi amps = compressor out on thermal even though fan is running (trying to cool compressor), is the comp hot to the touch if it is it is out on thermal, is there plenty of room for ventilation? u could have a failed starting component which can be caused by above stated condition, defrost timer can also be suspect as it is the switch between defrost and cooling operations, a dirty condenser/ lack of proper ventilation will cause the contacts to burn or stick "all fridge" is made by danbury i am not familiar with them but i am pretty sure u can google them for a manual

sounds like the compressor or relay went out. if the compressor is hot turn off and let cool to room temp. and try it then [a few hours] , if it is not hot then replace the relay on the compressor.

you may have compressor problem check condenser fan

Check your compressor, the relay and the computer board. These are all located at the back of the fridge if all check out ok, then check your thermostat

Sounds as tho your compressor is bad if it is still under warrenty take it to the place of purchase.
