Ad a fifth hard disk - Asrock ConRoeXFire-eSATA2 (CONROEXFIREESATA2R2) Motherboard

first find out what parts are failing, the disk?

what disk.? what OS,
do a full scan disk test on disk , if it is corrupted, then, it is.
came with 3000 songs.?
that sounds like a fairy tale to me, nor legal.
if its your backup drive, then where is your alternate BU?
backing up to only 1 device is not going to work,
burn a DVD and burn a flash stick too.

there are recoversoftware that can recover data and skip over the bad. for sure.

Try going to control panel / administrative tools / computer management / disk management this will give a detailed view of all of your disks this will also if it needs to have a volume added if so just right click the disk and add volume.

If you are running out of hard disk space you need to do disk maintenance to recover lost disk space.

If you still need more disk space you can add another hard disk to your computer as a slave hard drive. You can move your data to this new hard drive and free up disk space on your C Drive.

try going into your bios and setting it to default.
is this a drive that you added? if so the unit is saying there is a problem with the compatiblity of a hardware component.remove anything that you added. try removing the drive so it says hard disk not found
if its not beeping you know there is a problem with the hard disk.
make sure that the jumpers on the drive are in the correct place .

Yeah you might need a new tranny. Not even replacing the fluids or changing the filter will help bc it would make it even worse by flushing away metal parts in your gears which would eventually cause slippage then failure.

The computer cannot find the operating system, the disk error message means it cannot find the hard disk, you most likely have a faulty hard disk or less likely a faulty disk controller.

You can test the hard disk by removing it and connecting it to a USB hard drive adapter and plug it into a working computer's USB port. If this computer cannot detect this drive as an external drive then you will know your hard drive is faulty ad you need to buy a new one and install Windows and programs etc..

You need to set the little jumpers at the rear of the hard drive and the cd rom drive. Set the hard drive as Master and the cd rom as Slave. Both devices should then be recognized.

hi my name is wesley. you need to make sure the hard disk you put in is set to slave otherwise it clashes with your other hard disk and will not boot. you will see a jumper on the hard disk you can set to slave instructions is on the hard disk you just have to change witch two pins the jumper is on.

Yes if you are adding one more drive or installing a hard drive to your computer u need to set it to primary location if you want to boot from that Hard disk otherwise u can set it to secondry location .
