I require method to remove drum bearings on whirlpool washer WHI-AWM5125

You can't!!!!! You need to replace the rear tub half as the bearings are moulded into the rear tub.

The part number you require (Whirlpools own spares number) is 4812 418 18318 and this has an rrp of £109.76

Unfortunately you can't just bang out the bearings and replace them like the good old days

Washer wont start.

£85 is the standard Whirlpool call out fee.

There could be a range of possibilities from faulty motor, burnt out brushes, etc.

I am trying to locate the brushes in my whirlpool awm 5125 washer i have taken the top off but cant locate them

the brushes are on the motor which is located at the rear of the machine sitting just under the wash unit.

You will need a 10mm spanner to remove the bolts holding the motor on. unclip the wiring to the motor and remove.

the carbon brushes are located on the rear of the motor - one on each side of the commutator,

you will need a philips screw driver to remove the brushes
