I forgot my password on my htc tilt and i cant get into it. how do i do a hard reset?

Hi if you forgot your password the only option to make it works is hard reset. To do that put your phone on a table press and hold two soft keys and using stylus push reset button. You will see a massage on a screen if still you want proceed press send (green button) after a restart your phone will be like out from the box. Remember that doing hard reset you gonna lose all your data.

You can reset the password ie security code with the help of master security code.
The master security code can be generated from the websites by providing the imei no.

You have not mentioned the model .If your phone doe snot support master security code try hard or soft reset

you need to do a full software replacement ...... www.htc.com download the rom ..remove sim card and Micro sd if you have one ...connect to active sync and click on the file you downloaded then just follow the instructions
