I have a dial control. Is 1 the coldest or the warmest.

temperature is set by dial #1 being the warmest and 9 being the coldest the numbers on the dial are only for reference they do not reperesent a certain temperature you will need a thermometer to figure out what number is what temp but they do recommend starting in the middle

Numbered 1-9 - one is the warmest setting, nine is the coldest. For a cooler it should be good on 5 for a freezer 7. If it doesnt work well on those settings the thermostat is usually bad.

1 is warmest, 3 to 4 normal and 7 maximum (coldest) At 7 it may run all the time and freeze up quickly

7 is the coldest 1 is warmest

1 is the warmest setting 6 is the coldest setting

The engineers designed it so that mid way between warmest and coldest should work for most people. It should be left there for 2 days. Should you decide to want it warmer or colder, move the control 1/2 of one number and give it 24 hours to react properly.

Sorry there is no manual on-line for the freezer. But I can tell you this 7 is the coldest and 1 is the warmest.

usually the higher the number the colder it gets. Easiest way to tell on all models is the number closest to off is the warmest setting... Eric

Should be a thermostat with a black knob in the freezer. Usually they are marked 1-7 1 being the warmest and 7 the coldest. Usually clock wise + colder. Adjust by only 1 number per day. See how it responded the nest day. The set point is designated by a notch or arrow on the cover plate. ;)
