I have a XRP that I have used for about 4 years. It's a great drill, but while drilling through some metal the other day, the clutch just started slipping at extremely low torques. Turning the clutch to the 'drill' setting, I can easily cause the clutch to slip by holding the chuck in my hand. Is the clutch something that can be repaired in this drill? And if that's the case, is it economical to do so or to just purchase a new one.
Thanks!
Jeremiah
Power tool American manufacturer is an excellent choice. In our family, too, recently appeared this tool, and all thanks to the advice from the blog https://www.firstcordlessdrillreviews.com/. If you plan to buy a reliable tool that will work for many years, then pay attention to the list of five cordless drills.

I've expierienced the same problems while drilling and tapping steel, not on one drill but now two drill are shot. The sad thing is the one XRP was a mere 60 days old when I first expierienced the problem, these drills are not cheap to buy yet it seems they are poorly designed or manufactored. I give up I'm heading out rigt now to purchase a new drill, different maker though
