You need to register the unit it will work:
1.
Make sure the Base Unit is switched on and has a Green light showing.
2. Unplug everything connected to the Base Unit sockets (you will reconnect them later).
3. Plug the Extension Unit into a power point near the Base Unit, switch on the power and watch the light on the Extension Unit.
4. If the light on the Extension Unit is not glowing a steady Red then the Extension Unit must first be deregistered. Follow Step A and Step B in
the Deregistering an Extension Unit box below then try to register the Extension Unit again.
5. Plug one end of a supplied line cord into to either socket on the Base Unit and plug the other end into the extra Extension Unit
(This cord is used to do the actual registering).
6. The light on the Extension Unit will glow Red for up to a minute and then change to Green or Yellow.
7. Once you have the Green or Yellow light on the Extension Unit, unplug the line cord between the Base Unit and the Extension Unit
(You can unplug the Extension Unit – it will remember being registered).
8. Plug in everything that used to be connected to the Base Unit sockets.
9. Install the extra Extension Unit as per the Extension Unit Installation steps on the other side of this page.

Avaya 4610 Red Light on top is on. pretty sure it isvoicemail but not sure of the voicemail box number as these phones have multiple extensions in their lifetimes. Is there a way to clear it?

Have you tried to retrieve any message? Sometimes another extension will set the MW light on inadvertantly.
Calling the VM won't help but if your retrieval attempt keeps ringing it will be a phone somewhere within the system. FIND IT & Answer the call at THAT extension and the light should go out. NB sometimes there can be more than one in Queue. Panasonic stack up to 8.

Wireless speakers not linked

Have you attempted to push the search button on the back of the receiving unit? Power down the transmitting unit and the receiver and reset the signal button on the rear unit after re-powering both units. Power surges seem to fry components on the rear unit. surge protection is a must on these things.

Wont stop flashing green and I can not connect to xbox live yet I used to be able to Any Help Thanks, Paul

IF The LIGHT IS FLASHING GREEN then there is something wrong with your wireless network
Check your network settings and Retry connecting

Check the adapter's status light loadTOCNode(2, 'moreinformation'); The adapter's status light can tell you a lot about the state that the adapter is in. Here's what the different lights mean:
  • Steady green light: The adapter is connected to a wireless router, gateway, or access point. The adapter is ready to use.

  • Steady red light: The adapter is not recognized. Try plugging the adapter into a USB port on the front of the Xbox 360 console.
  • Flashing green: The adapter is attempting to connect to a wireless network.
  • Flashing red light: There is a problem. The adapter might be experiencing a hardware failure. Contact Xbox support at http://www.xbox.com/support/contact (http://www.xbox.com/support/contact) .
  • No light: The adapter is not receiving power. Unplug the USB connector and plug it in again. Still no light? Try plugging the adapter into a USB port on the front of the console

My wireless keyboard stopped working i have replaced batteries ,checked usb port ,device is recognised by pc,driver ok but wireless device not connecting witth keyboard

The keyboard may have lost connection with the wireless receiver. Take a look at the back of the keyboard. There should be a small recessed button located on the back. The button might be red and say "connect". Once you have found that button you will then need to press the connect button on the wireless receiver. After you press the connect button on the receiver it will be looking for the keyboard to transmit it's frequency. Now press the connect button on the back of the keyboard while you are close to the receiver. When you press the button on the back of the keyboard watch for any light activity on the receiver. You should see some when the keyboard connects to the receiver. After this the keyboard should be connected to the receiver and working properly. If you have a wireless mouse and it is also not working you can repeat the same process with it. It will also have a small recessed connect button on it.

If it does not connect you will want to verify that there is nothing near by that might be interfering with the signal like a wireless phone, baby monitor ect. Sometimes these devices can interfere with the signal.

Let me know if this works or if you have any other questions and thanks for using FixYa.

I have tried 3 fresh, new batteries

What is the exact model of wireless mouse you have? You may have a laser wireless mouse, which may not emit any visible light. The red light on other wireless mice are either a different optical mouse technology, or a red light for the purpose of being pretty. Not all wireless mice have a red light that you can see. Does the mouse work (regardless of the light)? Have you hit the connect button? Have you connected the wireless receiver to a working USB port?

Wireless speakers not communicating to Receiver

Speakers have a unique RF frequency that needs to pair with the receiver (kind of like a blue tooth headset with a cell phone). At times, the signal may reset, so, you may have to go through the initial pairing sequence. Try this:
1. Unplug rear speakers
2. Make sure the sound signal connector is plugged in to the back of the system properly.
3. Press and hold the ID button for 3 seconds until the blue LED light flickers.
4. Connect the power chord to the rear speakers.

2-9450c telephone will not setup

Each telephone must be connected to line 1 and line 2 for
proper operation. The remaining lines 3 and 4 may — or may not —
be connected to each station as you desire. First plug in the battery, then the phone lines (1 & 2 are mandatory), and third the power cord. If your intercome LED is blinking red and green, then press: STORE IN, followed by "INTERCOM" followed by a free intercom# (i.e., any of the memory buttons 1 through 16 not already assigned to another telephone set. Then wait for the phone to go through its initiation sequence during which it searches each of the four possible lines. After that concludes, you should get dial tone on your active lines. :-) Marco
