How to recover saved messages remotely

Hi,

To retrive the messages remotely please follow the steps...

Dialing In to Your System:-

1.Call your telephone number and wait for the system to answer. (If your answering system is off, it will answer after ten rings and sound a series of beeps instead of your greeting.)

2.During the greeting or beeps, press 0 and immediately enter your security code. If you enter it incorrectly 3 times, the system hangs up and returns to standby.

3.The system announces the current time, the number of messages stored in memory, and a help prompt. It will beep intermittently to let you know it's waiting for your command.

When you hear beeping, enter a 2-digit command from below:-

01Repeat message
02Play message
03Skip message
04Delete message
05Stop playback
06Turn the system on
09Turn the system off
10Hear help prompts

Thanx

Lucent Partner 18D - Caller ID not working

The caller id information is sent from your local telco provider after the first ring and might not be able to be extended to the individual sets, try backing off the ring to answer on your voice mail from 2 to 3 rings to see if the information is then passed on. The Voice Messaging System message is being sent from the system showing who transfered the call to you. You should also notice that the ring pattern when that message is displayed is a standard ring followed by a beep meaning a transfer is taking place.

"i have a uniden 6 0 dect2080 3 answering machine how to check the messages from a different phone"

The default security code is "80". If you have not reset that code, you will use 80.
This is all from the manual:
1) Call your telephone number and wait for the system to answer. If the answering system is off, it will answer after about ten rings and sounds a series of beeps.
2) During the greeting or the beeps (if answering system is off), press 0 (zero) and enter your security code within 2 seconds.
3) The answering system announces the current time and the number of messages stored in memory. You hear "To play incoming messages, press zero-two. For help, press one-zero" followed by a beep.
Then the manual lists all the remote commands. If you need those, you can go to uniden.com and download a manual.
