You gave me a solution that said:
"press the recording key and the middle key of the mp3 for 6 seconds"
My battery is dead because I tried to leave it on and see what it would do... so I don't think I can do that any more.
Have any ideas? Thanks for your time!
Wow Guys do one thing, press the recording switch and power switch and it will start booting. After that for security purpose just upgrade your firmware and remove any junk songs from your player.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to this website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

Here is what I posted in my original problem that hasn't been fixed yet:
"I have a Sansa e260 4gb and I was turning it on.
I pressed some of the buttons (Next, Play/Pause, Previous.....cause I was bored...), while it was starting up and then the screen stayed on its Sansa logo then fades into all white and repeats the Sansa logo and white screen fade.
I tried turning it on and off at first but that didn't work.
When I try to regularly connect it to the computer it still restarts over and over so I can't connect.
I've tried Recovery Mode and it says "USB cable connected Enter USB2.0 MSD mode", then when I try the Remove and Repair options it still doesn't work.
I've also tried disassembling it and taking out the battery for a few minutes and it still does that restarting thing.....WTF?!
help, please."
So I've tried all that I could think of and did the Sansa Recovery Mode then the Remove and Repair options...
Nothing's worked, plus my battery's dead cause I decided to leave it on and see what it would do.....
Help, please.
