The tv turns on, then turns off right away - Mitsubishi WD-62525 62" Rear Projection HDTV

Check the power relay. Check power supply voltages.

Check your input source. TV is coming on and switching to an input where the source is not on

If the flashing green lights are on the circuit board each is tied to a voltage from the power supply----likely damage is there but a 99 may not be economical to fix in 2012.

this sounds like an IC thats Bad


the time it takes for a bad IC to cause the TV's powers supply to over current and shutdown,,,, sounds like what you are describing..

replace the deflection pcb

Can you tell me if you have s[eaers on or near the TV? If so It may be possible that the TV is being affected by the speakers being too close if that is the case. If so then to move them of or away and to turn the TV off for 30 min should solve it. Hope this helps.

does the tv realy shut off or does the pic go away sounds like bad tube
