If it's a pop-off type back, (you can tell by running your finger nail around the edge between the back and the case) If you find a slight indent or flat spot near the 12 o'clock position it is a pop-off back. Use a very sharp blade and VERY gently pry the case back up at this spot. It should pop off easily. Don't force it or it'll bend. To replace: line it up in the same position it had been and apply firm pressure untill it snaps back. If it's a screw off back (it has a series of slots around the edge) you'll need a case back tool to remove it. In that case it'll be easier to go to a jeweler.

nanuke,
Many jewelry stores have approximately 100 different varieties of batteries on hand, places like JC Penny, Wal-Mart and other fine Jewelry stores as well. The number can be converted into the brand they carry (as long as they have the chart). Rather then drive all over, first call asking if they have a large selection and if they have a chart to convert your battery and if so tell them the # you have, the number you listed really doesn't sound like a common one, so you may have to take it to someone that is willing to spend a few minutes trying a few different sizes. Remember this is the time of year where jewelry retailers take in 80% of their yearly money, waiting a few weeks when the season is over, may get you much better service.
SOURCE: Need extra link for an Anne Klein 10-7977MPTT watch
I called Anne Klein saying I wanted to purchase additional links for an Anne Klein watch I had purchased, and I was (very kindly) instructed to call the following number between 8am and 5pm EST: 1-800-937-0050 ext. 203. I'll be calling tomorrow. Good luck!
SOURCE: I can't get the back off of my Anne Klein watch
Take your watch to your nearest watch shop and ask them to do it for
you.
You can get into difficulty replacing batteries and it is
not worth the risk for the small cost saving in doing it yourself.

Most watch companies will give out extra links with a purchase. I would ask the retailer you bought from first, and if no luck there, I would try AK direct at this link:
