SOURCE: I can't set up my email

Go to the mail tab in touchflo/home, then menu> accounts>new accounts, then enter your email address + password >next>check try to get settings... > next> enter your name and the name to be shown on the phone for the account >next>type in username/password>set automatic send/recieve>done!

If it cannot find your settings automatically, or if it says messages cannot be downloaded to your mobile device, in messages go to menu again then tools>options>tap your account to modify>edit account setup>keeping pressing next until you get to 'incoming mail server. Here you must put your providers POP/IMAP settings manually. It should be found on their website, or by calling them. Then next until you get to outgoing settings, then again get the address from your provider, and put it in there. Should be working now..

SOURCE: HTC HD won't connect to my email server

Hi.

Not sure if this helps or ot, as the original question was a little lacking on detail:-)

If you are using t-mobile (might apply to other operators as well, but I could only test on t-mobile) try the following:

Start
Settings
Connections Tab
Connections
Set up my proxy server
Clear the tick box title "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the internet"

Worked for me.

Can't find PC synchronization software for my Tmobile HTC HD2 mobile phone.

hi, 2 options

Activesync is a free download that can be found on the Microsoft website: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/activesync/default.mspx

Windows Mobile Device Center is a free download that can be found on the Microsoft website:http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/devicecenter.mspx

also the phone has wireless sync software, see details below

Microsoft® My Phone synchronizes information between your device and a password protected Web site hosted by Microsoft. You can find your missing phone, backup and restore your contacts, calendar appointments, photos, and more.

To install Microsoft My Phone, follow these steps:

  2. Tap Microsoft My Phone.
  3. Tap Next.
  4. Tap Accept.
  5. Enter your Windows Live ID and password. Note: If you do not have a Windows Live ID or e-mail account, tap Create a new Windows Live ID.
  6. Tap Sign in.
  7. Tap Next.

  9. Tap Automatic or Manual.
  10. Tap Next.

My HTC HD2 purchased from T-mobile has locked me out with severel attempts using the correct password! What can I do to fix my problem??

reset it and when you get it back up and running make sure to "MICROSOFT MY PHONE" so if anything else happens to the phone you can always get everything back including calendar events and text messages and stuff like that. I have mine on syncing hedule to sync everyday at 4:30 am when I am sleeping without interfering with my normal phone use. I've reset my phone dozens of time and still got all my info back. Just make sure to use Microsoft my phone as soon as you get the phone up and runnig, and to master reset it just hold the end button and the volume up&down button simultaneously and a screen will come up. You've reset it. And update the ROM on the tmobile website. I have no more problems with my phone once I did that earlier this month

I have a HTC touch diamond. I have it set to "delete messages off server", but it doesn't do it. the messages keep reloading on my phone.

Make sure you Send/Recieve, which will 'sync' or delete those messages with the server at the same time. If you don't it will simply only delete from your phones inbox, until the next time you sync

Microsoft outlook on my verizon HTC SMT5800

Unless you are trying to sync with another Microsoft Exchange Server (say at your new Job) or you are running an Exchnage server at home on a dedicated server.. you will not be able to set your phone up with exchange.

One Suggestion I may have would be to setup outlook on your phone to connect to your email via Imap4 or POP3.

You might want to remove the activesync partnership to your old company if you havent done so allready to help get rid of the exchnage sync error's.

Hope this helps.

Serious Issue re ActiveSync 4.5, HTC Touch, WM6

Try this, I read it on a microsoft.com forum.
Disconnect the device from the PC.
Open Activesync on the device.
Open the "Menu".
Click "Options"
Uncheck "E-mail" from Data you want to Sync.
Click "Done"
and re-sync devise to PC.

Once I did that, my contacts and all my appointments sync'd.
Hope that helps...
It seems tons of people have had this annoying issue.
