Yes, you should be able to. You will need to buy a $20 adapter. Sewell Direct sells them, also Amazon.com. They are called VGA to RCA composite video converter. This will convert your laptop's VGA output to RCA composite video for connection to your TV yellow video input. Connect an audio cable from laptop's earphone output to the TV's RCA audio inputs (white and red) using a 3.5mm to RCA adapter cable available at Radio Shack for about $10. This will work. You can see everything that the laptop displays on the TV. You can even hookup a VCR to record it all.

I have sony KV-32FS100 TV and I am looking to transfer the display from my laptop (DELL Latitude E6410, video card NVIDIA NVS 3100m) to TV so that I can watch video clips etc on TV. Please let me know what types of cable I need.

Seting up hdmi on sinotec tv to laptop

Normally with external displays the easiest way to do it is make sure the laptop is connected to the internet. Then turn off the laptop..now turn on the TV and connect the hdmi cable to the TV. Now switch the TV input to hdmi.
With the laptop still turned off connect the hdmi cable to the laptop.
Now you have everything connected, turn on the laptop and the laptop should find the TV and download any drivers it needs.
And that should be everything you need to do.

The Bravia needs the video input to be changed to PC when you connect a computer to the Bravia.
You still need to press FN + F5 to divert the laptop video data to the video port on the laptop for the TV.

Get an hdmi cable and connect it between the laptop and the tv. Then, change input, or source on the tv until you see the laptop on the tv. The laptop should automatically recognize the tv and connect. That's about it. Let me know if you have any difficulties.

Your laptop has an HDMI port. If you HDMI om your TV all you need is an HDMI cable.

The D600 has no TV out option, the only Output for visual display is the monitor VGA port.

You would need a converter for the normal VGA to DVI Cable.

you either need a Tv-Out card or an adapterTV Out box to connect the Laptop to the TV. Optionally if your Tv has a SCart connector(Google for what that means), you could connect the Laptop directly to the TV, instead of the adapter.
