Have a kenwood sw-32ht green light comes on but have no sound, please help on what it could be

Check the signal or rca's. Make sure the sub is turned on from the headunit. Sounds like you have power but no signal. Also, make sure your power wire has 12 volts. I've seen where the light turns on because remote wire has power, but no power from the battery wire.

Using without parking break

Hi James,

Page 27 of the installation manual (http://www.wwstereo.com/_files/155788/documents/Kenwood--Manual.pdf) shows a connection to the parking brake light circuit. It is the Light Green wire labeled "PRK SW" shown below.

507e8abd-cbd0-4811-9c76-ad8a0f498b77.jpg

If it is connected the way it is drawn, the PRK SW wire is connected between the lamp and the switch that opens and closes depending on the position of the parking brake (set or not). 12 volts is always present from the battery to the top of the lamp. It passes thru the filament to the wire that goes the top of the parking brake switch. So, when the brake is OFF or disengaged, the lamp is off and 12 volts is present on the PRK SW wire to your Kenwood GPS. When you set the parking brake, the ground (symbol is the funny slanted lines under a horizontal line) just under the brake switch passes through the switch and changes voltage at the PRK SW to "ground" or 0 volts. When this happens, the ground on one side of the lamp with 12 volts on the other side of the lamp - make is turn on.

So, what does this mean? Simply tie the PRK SW wire to any grounded metal and the Kenwood will think the parking brake is always set - for as long as it is tied to ground. You can check it with a simple voltmeter to be sure. Set the meter to 12 volts or more, touch black lead to ground & the red lead to the PRK SW wire. Kenwood should only work when at 0 volts (brake set). Release the brake - meter shows 12 volts & the Kenwood shuts off.

I hope this helps & Good luck!

Kenwood SW-32HT Subwoofer Dropping sound Yamaha Reciever

Several possible answers. First - is that the Yamaha has a fault that is sending a signal with too much power on it. And the sub detects this and switches off.
Second - either the Receiver or Sub is switching off when no audio is present. A setting problem?
Third - the sub has a fault, possible overload, and goes to standby for safety.

LG 42 LCD no sound or picture

Did anyone find out the solution for this??????? I have the exact same problem with my LG 32 LCD. I only had it for a year and a half, and the green light blinks a few times and it shows no picture. Not even a red light when the tv is off. The same thing happened a couple weeks ago and by some miracle it started working again.

TV won't turn on and green light is solid.

My Dad suggested unplugging the television as it might need to reset itself. We unplugged it, let it sit while I cleaned the back with the vacuum cleaner, plugged it back in and it works fine now.
