Flip Software When I plug my flip into my computer..the software pops up, and then it says it cannot open. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!? HELP PLEASE!!!!

It depends on your webcam software, what is it?

Actually I recently spoke to Flip Video about the same thing since I need to get a new computer which will be Windows 7 64 bit.
They said to just plug the camcorder into the computer USB 2 port and the camcorder will open FLIPSHARE on your computer screen and will download the updates itself unless you stop it from doing so.

have you installed the Flip video software? Should be pre loaded on the camera but sometimes you have to install it manually. "My Computer" --> "Flip Video Camera". There should be a .exe file there that will install the software, then you can manage your videos. If you have already done this then I would check the USB connection and contact Cisco Support.

Go into the application that you installed in the computer for the camera. There should be a command within the program to reverse the image.

Perform the suggested format, using the device as recognised on USB - don't worry about it not being the flip icon.

Put the batteries in the camera, then connect via the USB flip connection. The camera will show up on the desktop like a flash drive does. Open it when it shows up. Drill until you find the avi movies and drag them to your desktop. You may have to convert them to quicktime files. If you cannot use the software that came with the camera (it does work), you can import the sections into iMovie.
