Simoniz S1400 Electric Pressure Washer

The metal piece that the pressure hose attaches to is cracked. This metal piece is an interior part that is attached to the pump mechanism by 4 Allen key type bolts. I would like to replace this part but I am unable to find the part number for this item. I believe that the Simoniz S1400 Pressure washer is really a Karcher K320. The unit was sold in Canada. A parts break down of this unit would help. Or perhaps there is a way to MacGyver it.

When hose attached to unit and water switched on it goes through the pressure washer and leaks out the front rather than just through the pressure hose

Most of the Simoniz pressure washers are, in fact, rebranded Karcher pressure washers. You can't find support or documentation on their website for machines they no longer make. However, there is a handy dandy website that you can use to find older versions of the Simoniz website, which does have the information you are looking for. I took the liberty of completing the search for your machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20071219120252/http://www.simoniz.ca/productdetails.php?s=6&c=1

I also managed to find a parts diagram and a parts list on a website that sells replacements parts:

I have the same unit. Can not find a parts diagram. In the above picture, to the right of where it's broken, there is a gold spring, (piston?). this is attached to what looks to be a switch for something. I have water shooting out of the gold spring. The pressure is low. Can this be fixed? Is there an online parts diagaram?

Can't get soap to feed into system

I have a SIMONIZ S2000 electric. I bought the unit about 8 weeks ago used it once. On the second use yesterday the unit didn't work as well, the pressure seemed only a bit better than hose pressure and soap did not dispense at any pressure. SO.... after much thought I turned the hose/tap pressure down so that I only got about 2-3 GPM instead of the typical 5-6GPM normally coming out of my hose....... it worked! Soap dispenses and spay is way better! It seems that if if the inlet hose pressure is high the pump doesn't work as well... go figure.

Where is the pressure switch located on a simoniz 1600 electric power washer?

There is a pressure switch to cut the motor once target pressure is reached. I.e. when the nozzle is closed. It's a black cheap plastic thing, right in front of the pump body. It has a white plastic lever to trip the switch. It was sticking intermittently on mine. the simoniz 1600 is quite a cheap peace of ****, needs fiddling around every time I use it
