It could be grind stuck in the (yes the, as in the only) hole in the filter cup. remove the filter cup from the cup holder (the thing with the black handle) and use the tiny pin in the little brown tool to push out whatever is in there. you may have used to fine a grind or stuffed the filter cup too much. careful, that is how you break the plastic filter holder ring.

for calcifying, i just use plain white vinegar. i put it in straight into the clear water holder, about 3/4 cup, then i run it throuhg a bit, let it sit 5 min, run it through a bit, let it sit 30 min to an hour. depending on the day, i repeat a few times, rinse with clean water. i do this about every 2 months.

Initially when the unit said need to prime, no water would flow out of the steam unit. After pulling the pump out and cleaning it, not sure what was blocking water the steam unit now has water pressure,...

I fixed the same issue by pushing in the water knob "in" towards the machine. Machine than primes normally as the water flow is restored and it resets itself.

Sounds like the steam wand is getting blocked some where either at the metal end or in the parnello wand if you machine has one at the end of the steam wand, if both of those are clean then try this push in on the steam knob if that works then tap rod assemble or steam valve needs to be replaced, make sure to ask about the stainless steel valve instead of the plastic one.

There is no water coming out of the machine at all. No error light come on but when you go to make a coffee with beans or pre ground it goes through the process but just dry coffee comes out. Also no water...

For the steam check the end of the nozzle to make sure it is not blocked.
For the coffee run a coffee using the pre ground method but without coffee grounds, if water comes out then grinder is too fine, if no water remove brew unit and clean top shower screen, you might have to clean tube leaving from shower to discharge.

When trying to steam milk, very hot water comes out of the steamer arm and curdles the milks. Additionally no hot water comes out of the opening for the coffee, so no espresso is made. This started...

It seems that your problem is the one mention second that no water come out for coffee. So every time you try to make coffee the boiler is overflow and you have more water from steam tap.
So you have to clean the coffee shower on coffee group head since this might be blocked by dry coffee. Also the coffee solenoid valve could be also blocked from dry coffee and it can be removed and cleaned with a wire brush. It can be also be damage and most posible the solenoid coil burn out so you might need a new solenoid. So I beleive if you solve the coffee group blocked problem then you might have solve also the steam problem,
Good Luck

The two coffee lights and the water light are flashing

Had the same problem. I sealed my lips around the steam wand and sucked as hard as I could, first with open steam knob, then with closed. Obviously there was some air left inside from steaming before. Machine worked fine afterwards.

I have a saeco Talea Giro machine. When I press the button to make coffee, the beans grind but no coffee comes out, but raher the water comes out of the steam spout. What is the solution

Check the screen on the brew unit, it might be blocked. If the brew unit is cleaned and the problem is still happening then the steam valve needs to be rebuilt because the pins are allowing the water pressure to pass through.

Water leaking and coffee dry

Sounds like the boiler is blocked, and machine needs to be descaled. Try this first remove the parnello if your machine has one on the steam wand then using a paperclip clear out the end of the wand, that might be blocked. If it isn't then run the descale to clear out the blockage in the boiler.

No hot water or steam

Well, I have little exposure to Saeco, but a lot to commercial coffee machines.
Saeco have a lot of custom made components, although these can be purchased, nothing is cheap! Neither is their repair service!
First, is the boiler heating?? If so:
No hot water/ no steam suggests a blockage. Assuming you can hear the pump working when attempting to do a coffee, you will probably find the water flowing back into the water tank via the relief valve. Of course, this valve itself could be the problem, or the pump failing to work through a blocked inlet filter or other problem.
Look now at the group head. Ever cleaned it? The filter and spray block should be removable, do so and clean them carefully. While you have them out, see whether water reaches the head by "making a coffee" into a cup placed under the head. BE CAREFUL OF SCALDING. If water now flows, cleaning the screen and spray block should restore operation.
Beyond that, it's inside the machine! There is a 3- way valve that operates when making a coffee. This can become clogged with coffee. There is another valve to open the steam.
If, like Saecos I have worked on, the boiler does both the hot water and the steam one at a time, look for problems BEFORE the boiler.
Hoe this helps a little....
