SOURCE: T7208 flashing light-no dial tone. Is there any

sounds bad to me.

Is the light flashing really quick? Or is it like when you have a voicemail and flashing...

You may have plugged the set into an analog port, where the set is getting too much power and that is one reason why it could be flashing like it is.

Plug another set, that you know is working into the same jack, this will tell you if the jack is set up for your digital phone or for an analog phone.

The keyapd on my meridian telephone sets do not output any tone after a call is complete.

Key pads are for buttons, not dial tone.
When a call is complete it should be silence.
If you want tone then press Intercom or a Line or an Access code.

Dial tone on speaker-phone but no dial tone on line 1

Either button mapping or no dial tone at the system cabinet. If your desplay sas CO1 and you have no dial tone, go to the sytsem cabinet ans swap the modular plugs for CO1 and CO2. If the No Dial Tone moves, "mus be sumpin wrong wit yo lines".

You probably have a key on you phone that is stuck down . Pick up your phone and look level with the keys or take you fingers across the keys.
