Maybe the button is not pushing the internal button properly. Undo the back and remove the watch unit from it's case and then see if it works when you press the internal button.

I need to change the time on my nike wk0006 watch, but nike doesn,t sell it anymore...WHAT DO I DO!!!!????

TRY!

Make sure the watch is facing the correct way. Put the watch on your wrist as you normally would, or pick it up by the strap with your left hand. You should see that the Nike swoosh is right side up. You should be able to read the time.
Find the left side of the watch. This will be your left when the watch is facing you correctly the same way that you would look at it to read the time. You will see at least two buttons. One will be labeled "mode" and the other will be labeled "set."
Press the "mode" button. Press the "mode" button. Continue to press the "mode" button until you have scrolled through the options and are on the correct setting. The correct setting should be "time."
Hold down the "set" button. You should see the currently set time on your watch and the hour should be flashing. You should see a plus sign (+) and a minus sign (-). If your current time says three (for example) and you want to read five, press the button that corresponds with the plus sign. If you want to go backwards, press the button that corresponds to the minus sign. When you are finished hit next.
Change the minutes. Now the minutes should be flashing. Repeat step four: press the button that corresponds with the plus sign to increase the minutes. Press the button that corresponds to the minus sign to decrease the minutes. Hit "next" when you are finished.
Hit "done." Congratulations, you have now successfully set the time on your Nike watch. Now your watch should read the correct time. If you want to get really crazy, you can repeat the steps above to change the date on your Nike watch.

Nike Triax Fury works after replacing battery, but buttons wont work or change anything!

I had the same problem - replaced the battery of my Nike Triax Fury and the time was blinking and none of the buttons were working. Turns out that you need both springs placed in the proper spot - the silver and gold springs. Both springs can be placed in their proper spot with the batter in. The gold one goes in the tiny hole near the "view" spot, and the silver spring goes year the 'cage' that holds the battery in place accross from the gold spring. Good luck.aa07e646-2c11-45e3-b8fa-b40ec2fd82c2.jpg

Press and hold 4 buttons on the four corners at the same time for 3 seconds to reset the watch after battrey replacement. check the last page of the manual for the same.

http://www.nike.com/timing/extranet/product/os_alticomp/osac_manual_eng.pdf

If it doesn't help then try another new battrey.

Nike watch problem

Okay, mine's a Chisel but I'm pretty sure the module is similar, if not the same, across the Mettle range.

Anyway, press and hold the light button - marked adjust - until the display says "hold to adjust"; after a couple of seconds the time display will return and the hours will be flashing.

To adjust up, press "start/+" and down press "stop/-". To cycle through the options, press "mode".

Once you're done, press the "adjust" button again to return to regular timekeeping mode.

Enjoy your Sledge - if you don't I'll have it!!

Regards,
Martin.

Triax CV10

Nike Triax CV10 - Successful HRM reset 7 November 2008

I had real problems too. Even after repeatedly following the known reset steps everyone else is posting up. Here’s how I got mine going, please forgive the mind bogglingly tedious detail…

First make sure you’re using new good quality batteries. I used Maxell’s, bought in 10’s from Hong Kong on ebay – no problem.

Second, and this is the ESSENTIAL bit…move right away from the computer and any other electromagnetic sources before carrying out the known reset…

Third, follow the known reset steps below, adjusted to what worked for me…

If you press all four buttons of your Nike HRM it will reset. Next time you go to "RUN" mode, it will show "HRM LINK" error. You will now need to "hard reset" the unit.

Nike made a late change to add a "hard reset" to the chest strap. To re-link (re-initialise) the watch you'll need to open the battery door on the chest strap, and use a paper clip (or the equivalent) to push the small gold button in the battery area. There should be a small sticker in the battery compartment that points to the reset button.

The re-initialisation steps for the Nike C10 and CV10 digital HRM's is:

(1) reset the watch
(2) open the battery door on the chest strap
(3) move the watch to RUN mode
(4) press the reset button in the chest strap battery area without removing the battery

Tip - I agree with the suggestion to use a pin or needle and definitely do it with the battery in the hrm.
Tip – Thumb holds battery to stop it from pinging out, other hand performs jiggle with pin until the link is made (it links straightaway if you jiggle it just right!)

(5) replace chest strap battery cover…and smile!

Can Link watch with Heart Monitor

If you can't link the hrm do as detailed in the following link If you press all four buttons of your Nike HRM it will reset. The re-initialisation steps for the Nike C10 and CV10 digital HRM's is: (1) reset the watch (2) open the battery door on the chest strap (3) move the watch to RUN mode (4) press the reset button in the chest strap battery area (5) put the battery back in the chest strap (if it's not already in - it's possible to push the button without removing the battery) (6) hold both of the electrode to create a signal (probably not necessary - it usually links immediately). My suggestion is to use a very thin needle and do it with the battery in the hrm. Eventually, Nike will either eliminate the hard reset or update the manual to include this info.
