Some of these new faucets are "soft off" which means the will drip or run for a second or 2 before the water stops. I know this can be annoying, but it is how some of them are made

Delta touchless faucet turns on just fine, but there is a several seconds delay when I turn it off. I did replace the batteries

Open the battery case and realign the batteries with the positive and negative poles in the right positions according to the layout in the battery compartment. Close the battery compartment. Make sure it locks completely before continuing.

Locate the reset button, if any, on or near the battery compartment, after changing out batteries.

Push the red reset button to reset the faucet.

Test the faucet to ensure the reset corrected the problem.

Tip
Not all automatic faucets have red reset buttons. Some faucets just require inserting new batteries or realigning the batteries in the compartment to complete a reset. on the faucet. Check the instructions that came with your automatic faucet or locate the user's guide online at the manufacturer's website.

Faucet won't stop dripping. Does it need replacing?

No it doesn't need replacing gif you turn your water source off and take the faucet apart most of them have rubber O rings in them and you can go to your local hardware store and get new O rings. It is cheaper then buying a new one faucet

My husband just replaced a bathroom faucet yesterday and it is dripping. did we do something wrong? and what should we do? Thanks It is a moen faucet.

If this is a brand new faucet and hubby hasn't taken it apart i would take it back where I bought it. It should not be dripping at all. Just installing it I can't see where he could have done anything that would make it drip from the faucet unless the drip is from a fitting he didn't get tight enough somewhere. If the drip is at the spout take it back and get a new one they are gauranteed and the place you bought it should replace it for you no problem.

Faucet dripping

Call Price Pfister at 1-800-PFAUCET and ask them to send you a new hot and cold stem for free. These faucets are easy to repair. Here is the parts breakdown for your faucet. Turn the water supply of to the faucet. Remove the index button from the top of each handle. Unscrew the handle retaining screw. Pull the handle off. Unscrew the stems with an adjustable wrench; turn them counterclockwise. Install the new stems and reinstall the hanldes; it may take a couple of times to get them set in just the right positions. Slowly turn the water back on and open the faucet.

DRIPPING OLD BEVERAGE AIR FAUCET

New faucets are easily had from many places like beveragefactory.com, northerbrewer.com, austinhomebrew.com, micromatic.com, etc. You should also be able to find replacement washers/o-rings for your current faucet, but it may require an email or phone call to one of the sales reps to locate one. If you decide on a new faucet consider a Ventmatic (Shirron) forward sealing faucet. Much better design that drips less and doesn't stick after sitting a few days. The only issue I've seen is that the machined grooves in back of the faucet may not mate up with your current shank requiring a machined (as opposed to cast) shank to match.
