You probably installed the wrong driver by doing that ..and what you need to do is go to the support site ..and download and install the correct one ...the camera need to be identified and to say that the device is installed and ready to use in order to work proper..
In order to provide you the proper driver ..I will need to know if this is a internal camera on a laptop ..or an external one ...and the exact model of the camera and the operation system that you have in ..
or ..here is the location for this webcam ..and choose the best driver and install it ...there are more than one ...if you are runing windows 7 be sue that it is compatible cause i kinda doubt it ..read all that is written there ..download them all ..and try them one by one ..but I will go for the 3rd one cause it seams the most complete one ..

its an external camera and i already downloaded the drivers from creatives website for my camera and when it says its done installing drivers and to plug in the webcam i do and it says it cant find the drivers and refers me to the creative website for support, basically going in circles. my laptop is a compaq presario running on windows xp and it says it is compatible. i already tried uninstalling reinstalling ive been looking for a solution to this for daaayss....please help
