I just need to know the specs on an AC adapter for my old Labteck SS-100 speakers. I want to buy a generic AC Adapter at Radio Shack and they suggested that I contact Tech Support.

I do not see a reason of wastig money on that venture as these speakers were not that hot when first made, humming noise from them was most annoying "feature"... but...

labtec ad-4 adapter was used in them, and output was 6vdc, 400ma, plug was 5.5mm x 2.1 mm with negative centre, if i recall, there was compartment in them for 4 "d" size batteries as well.

Where can I order a new power cord for a coby portable dvd player TF-DVD7006?

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

It seems like this is a discontinued item. Specs on the AC adapter are listed as:

The AC adapter operates on AC 100-240V ~50/60Hz (DC Out: 9V; DC
Current: 2.0A minimum

Your best, quickest solution is to check with a place like a Radio Shack who may have a universal adapter with the correct fittings to plug into your player.

Concerned.

I need to buy a power adapter for my maxtor 3200 does best buy or radio shack sell it

Hello,

Neither company sells this specific adapter but Radio Shack/The Source may have universal adapters. My advice however would be not to replace the adapter as universals are not 100% reliable and cost about the same amount as replacing the entire enclosure. Simply pop into Radio shack or any PC shop and ask the technicians to swap your drive into a new enclosure, they range from about $20 to about $50 but most of the $20 ones will have everything you need.

Once the drive is in the new enclosure you can use the new AC adapter that came with it and you're back in business.

Hope this helps FixYa,

Chris

Need ac adapter for speakers

If you're in the US, go to Radio Shack and buy a plug in transformer that puts out 12VDC at 1000mA.
The polarity is negative (-) on the outside and positive (+) on the inside.

JBL Media 100 Speaker power?

Buy a power adapter from radio shack or similar place. You need a 1000mA 12 volt dapter. Just make sure it is rated @ or above 1000mA to avoid the adapter heating up and possibly burning. The whole setup is rated @ 850mA wich 1A(1000mA) should handle with enough head room. But it might run you about $15-20. I would just buy a cheap radio with rca inputs/aux input and use that. I got one from Walmart for around $40 and it plays CD's & AM/FM.
