Want to remove U3 software and completely wipe SanDisk Cruzer Micro flash drive.

Try using a tool like Rufus http://rufus.akeo.ie/ to format the drive to its full capacity. There are links on the page to other usb utils.

SanDisc cruzer micro won't format

Is this one of the cruzers with the slidey USB connector, and what's called "U3"on it that loads automatically?

If so, you should not need to format it as such, but if there is a lot of the U3 software on it, that can bog up the drive with unnecessary data. You can also remove the U3 software altogether, however, this is a permanent solution - make sure you will not ever want this functionality from your drive first before you remove the U3 software.

Corrupted files on cruzer micro 4gb

Due to the U3 technology, i.e. the files you deleted which were on the drive when you got them, you may have caused the drive to malfunction because the U3 software was not uninstalled, but rather deleted.

Please attempt to reinstall the U3 software on the Sandisk website, named "U3 Launchpad Installer"
which can be found at this link: http://www.sandisk.com/Retail/DriverDownloads.aspx

If you are still having problems, either reinstalling the software or with corrupt files, please report any errors exactly as you see them.

SanDisk 4GB cruzer URGENT problem! Please, please help! :)

it may have overheated and became stuck. Stick it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer for 1/2 hour then try it. Do not leave it out without power for long or moisture will condense on it.
