dont bother trying to update the firmware on the router - i spent hours trying this. there is an issue with the netopia routers and your better off buying a new one. lots of people have more routers than they actually need. ill sell you a brand new bt voyager one for 20 euro. 0863303753
go to windows update after you have installed netopia usb adapter and do custom scan and it will bring up ralink 2500 usb driver install that and it will work netopia usb adapter i think it has ralink chip but it works with mine
