Older Lincoln impinger keeps heating

t sounds like there may be an issue with the temperature control system in your Lincoln oven. Here are a few things you can check:
  1. Make sure the temperature probe is clean and inserted properly into the oven. If the probe is dirty or not inserted all the way, it may not be accurately reading the temperature.
  2. Check the thermostat for any signs of damage or wear. If the thermostat is faulty, it may not be able to regulate the oven temperature correctly.
  3. Look for any loose or damaged wiring. Loose or damaged wiring can cause the oven to overheat or not heat up at all.
  4. If the above checks don't identify the issue, it may be time to call a professional technician to diagnose and repair the oven. They will have the necessary tools and expertise to diagnose and fix any issues with the temperature control system.

Frigidaire PLEB30T8CCB Double wall oven - heating to temp, but not maintaining.

Your wiring diagram and parts schematics are here in the link below. Normally the bottom element does glow read hot after a couple of minutes. Broil elements last a lot longer because they aren't used as much. There is only one Control Board. If I was guessing, I would say the temperature sensor is at fault. Elements either work, or they don't, but you can easily test continuity with a meter. Many parts are discontinued.

What is wrong if the oven is not cooking food evenly?

If it is not a fan assisted oven, then I would say that one of the side elements has gone, u will have to locate and check it,or put the oven for a couple of mins, then check the elements they should both be hot.
Hope this helps.
Plz rate this solution.
Thanks.

Hobart HEC40 208V to a 240V source

The only difference should be the elements. Consider installing a buck-boost transformer. It may be cheaper.

The Hobart part number for the 240 volt element assembly is --
# 342170-00002. Your local Hobart can get you a price.
