Hi,
This is common, there may be a flood protection device that tripped in the line or sediment got into the system when the water was turned back on.
First turn the water off to the dishwasher. Take the hose or pipe off at the connection under the dishwasher, put a pan or towels under that open pipe. Slowly turn the water on and flush that line until clear. If no water comes out then you will need to do this but further back 'upstream'.
Once water comes clear, turn the valve off again reconnect the pipe/hose to the dishwasher and very slowly open the valve. If the water does not enter now you have sediment in the water inlet valve on the dishwasher itself and that valve will need replaced.
according to the manual that i have just downloaded from the net,E1 code means.water leakage in Hose connections.
.water is leaked by damages
hope this helps,
keith
